Privacy-minimizing design

Fact Master is designed for school and instructional use. Students can play through a teacher-managed classroom code and a numbered alias such as Student 01. Ordinary student play does not require a student email address, Google account, Microsoft account, legal name, initials, or abbreviation of a name.

Information processed

For approved organizations, Fact Master may process adult account details, organization and purchasing records, numbered student aliases created by educators, accommodation settings that describe product behavior rather than diagnoses, classroom access settings, and instructional evidence such as skill, phase, support level, and response outcome.

How information is used

Information is used to authenticate authorized adults, operate classrooms, provide learning feedback, show instructional reports, support purchasing and implementation, secure the service, and meet contractual or legal obligations. Fact Master does not sell student personal information or use student instructional evidence for targeted advertising.

Access and security

Saved instructional evidence is scoped to an approved organization and teacher-assigned alias. Classroom codes do not grant adult access. Each successful student entry receives a separate student-only browser session that expires after eight hours. Authorized teachers and organization administrators can turn off classroom codes, and TKG can suspend an adult or organization account.

Retention and deletion

Retention periods are set through district agreements and approved data policy. Authorized adults can request an alias export or deletion review through the signed-in Privacy dashboard. Deletion may be delayed when identity, authorization, contract, security, or legal-hold review is required.

School authorization

Schools and districts control which educators and students may use Fact Master and are responsible for their local notices, consents, records rules, and approved alias roster. Fact Master supports school compliance work but does not by itself make a district FERPA-compliant.

Questions and requests

Use the Fact Master access-request form for general privacy questions. Approved customers should use the signed-in Privacy dashboard so TKG can verify the organization, requester, and affected record.
